Hmmm....I'm on the fence, which means it's probably going back. Sigh. But I have photos, so I thought I'd share!
It's 6.5mm, 1.23ct

MTG, is the color showing here pretty true to the stone?

The oval tsav, you already own that? Very very pretty. I can see why you love it.

The cut is nice, but the color resembles a demantoid.

I thought it resembles a peridot from the photos =) Its bright though.

It is nice, but it does not have the amazing color you other stone has. It is pretty in its own right, but I agree with the others in that it resembles some other green stones more than a tsavorite.

Yeah, that's why it's a goin back....

I would eventually like a larger tsav though! One of these days...

I think it's really pretty, definitely different from your other one but still pretty. But if you don't love it, it makes more sense to save the money for something that you will.

I think it's gorgeous, but from my limited knowledge I guess it's not hugely tsavorite-like.

Well shoot! I think it's a pretty color..tho when I saw it next to your other, well..poor lil guy.

I understand why while the stone is pretty, it’s not what you are looking for. The round cut adds a lot of brilliance and sparkle but the hue has a yellow modifier and also a lower saturation level. If you like a richer deep green, it’s just not going to measure up. ::)

Ditto! It looks a little more like a "mint" garnet than a true tsavorite in these pics. Pretty, but sounds like you prefer a deeper green.

Personally the colour is a bit pale but still nice.

In some of your photos I see more of a bluish cast, and in some, more grey and yellow. If it was like the former, I would keep it, as it would be a pretty mint garnet. However, if you don't like it, well, back it goes. . .

It is a pretty color but to me it is more of a mint garnet. It looks like a very nice stone but if it's not the color you want I would return it.

I love the color but I'd call it a mint and not a tsav.

yup, the older one sure has ruined it for other greens - it's a beauty. The new stone is nice, but not what you wanted.

I actually prefer Barry's minty one if it's like the "bluer" photos, but I think some people prefer the more dark toned tsavorites. I'm not of the latter camp. Regardless of tone, a good tsavorite or green grossular should have a nice saturation.

lovely stone!
if you return it I would like to buy it

Vast minority here, but I likey.
