needing help with loose diamond analysis for wedding?

my soon to be husband is giving me these to options to look at bc he feels that they are great given the stats and scales. He has showed me and tried to explain them to me. he did some researching but i feel he doesnt fully know how to examine the information given.

i told him i read up on this but this is all so confusing. i dont know if this is the right place to post the question but can more experienced members please give their thoughts?

Both of those are great diamonds. They have ideal cuts, which will make them look whiter and sparkle more.

What do you want out of a diamond? It sounds like you may not be totally satisfied with his choices.

My inclination would be to drop the color/clarity a little (it is less likely to be noticeable in a smaller diamond) and go a little bigger. I'm not 100% sure of your budget but here are some potential options:

High cut quality, color and clarity with slightly more size. Is this one in your budget? It is $2440 with pricescope/wire discount.

If the budget is $2000, then I would choose this one:

I don't like the balance of D color with SI1 clarity. So that is why I would not choose the diamond from James Allen. I think G VS is a good combination to give relatively high color and clarity and allows you to get top cut quality.

Wow thanks seeker! Our budget is at $2000 and looking to upgrade in future. WF has a very unique upgrade policy which alone is enough to convince us. I have narrowed it down to two new choices based on the ps members help:

I would rather have the G VS2 just because VS2 is the lowest I go in clarity for myself.
