Yes I agree if everything done under one roof is better and that is what i am aiming for. WF will custom make both so might stick with them, do you suggest better have ERD do it than WF??.

WF does custom so it may be worth it to ask them about it. Show them your picture and I"m sure they can create something gorgeous. I thought of ERD because they do similar rings....up to you though. WF does beautiful custom work too.

WF has seen the picture and agreed to create it but I will try to see if I can get a fix on the JA one. I rather stick with WF than jump about considering the logistics involved.

Some people don't like the double halo that's on the JA ring. Plus the JA ring has their diamonds set differently (prong set instead of bead set which is what was shown in your picture)...but again, up to you.

Thanks !! . WF did give me a quote for the JA and the one I like in the picture and it is similar. I think you got it spot on about the setting, I think the bead set vs the prong set is the difference. I am wondering if the JA ring could be done with a bead set and how would it look?

Well, it'd look chunckier, like a bigger setting...and the halo would look bigger like really big since it's a double halo (not sure how your FI would like that..). I guess it couldn't hurt to inquire about it. You should see if WF can give you a rendering on that too. Just keep in mind, when you get the CADs, they always look bigger in the CADs and will look more delicate irl.

She has physically tried out the Mappin & Webb (picture) one and also really liked the JA one when she saw the picture. I personally do not like the JA one and I think i am going to with the MW one which both like but trying to figure if i can find a way to redo the JA one.

Ok, then I'd probably take the JA picture/video of that setting and send the picture of the setting your FI likes and see what WF can do to merge the two. They're pretty good at what they do, so I'd trust them.

They do not have pictures of anything combined to show me and they need to follow my instruction to prepare a CAD or i leave it completely up to them to prepare the CAD but once they go a particular way i cannot have them change the design as a new CAD would incur cost. I am not the best at visualizing a mix and would need to actually see something before i go ahead, hence need to see something that is a mix.

Guess the choices I try to give them specifications of what i want (cannot give it if i need a mix), follow them entirely or go with the MW ring.

Well, no they wouldn't have anything to show you since you're asking them to make you something custom (a merged ring combined of the two different ones). What I'm suggesting it that you let them see what you're talking about so they can go from there either consulting with you on what will work or creating the CAD's.
