Need to choose between 2 stones - HELP PLEASE!!

Hi,
I need help deciding between 2 diamonds which I'm getting from WF. I just purchased a virtual diamond but just realized that it's not part of the lifetime trade program and I really want to be able to have the option of upgrading in the future. I have a few days to return the virtual stock and debating if I should get the one that's sold in-house (expert selection). I think both are beautiful diamonds and the ones in house will cost me an additional $250 more but will give me the lifetime trade option. Can anyone give me some advice?

Measurements: 6.43 - 6.46 x 3.89 mm

For $250 I would definitely get the latter stone. It gives you much more leeway to change it if you decide you don't like it down the road.

If you want the option to trade it in or sell it back, most definitely spend the $250 to get the Expert Selection stone. You are going down two color grades however. Not sure if that bothers you. FWIW, the ES stone looks much nicer to my eyes.

Thanks for the reply. The latter stone was reserved by the time I called WF. I ended up getting a similar one with I colour... I hope it turns out just as beautiful but I'm definitely happy I have the option for trading it in the future.

Thanks JDDN! I ended up going down to a colour I but I think the cut is better? What does "ES" mean btw? Sorry I'm a newbie!!

Goodness the cut is not only better, it's beautiful! Just look at the symmetry of those hearts- swoon.

ES is short for Expert Selection . In your posting you mentioned getting one in house (expert selection). I think their ES stones are great as are their ACA (A Cut Above). If you know you'll want to trade it up in the future I think you made a great choice.
