Need technical opinion on timeline for setting and resizing

What's the common wait time for a size 6 stock ring with tapered channel shank to be worked on? I'm told they need to special order a sturdier mounting for my stone, then open the original bridge wider to fit and secure the prongs (a roughly 8mm in diagonal square cut diamond, kite/compass style), then set the stone, then cut the bottom of the band to size it down to a 3.75...

ETA is 1.5 week. Does that sound about right to you guys?

That's many hours of work and however long it takes to wait for parts and for your turn in line behind the other customers. If the shop isn't in the building there's also an issue of getting things to and from the jeweler. A week and a half deadline seems very reasonable.
