Hi everyone,
I've been doing some research and am trying to find a good princess cut diamond for the best value (I assume that's what everyone wants
)
From what I've seen here, Blue Nile is not everyone's favorite place as they don't have a lot of resources to compare the diamonds they have listed.
One thing I do like from Blue Nile though is this setting, and I can't find really anything simple and comparative to it:

Simple channel design, princess cut diamonds, nothing over the top or intricate designs. I don't want round diamonds on a similar setting but if I find anything like that, they tend to be round.
Another problem I'm running into is I didn't give myself enough time to get this. I need the ring in my possession by Friday November 25th. Blue Nile can easily make that happen and especially with the same setting.
What I'm looking for in a princess cut diamond:
Budget: under $10k with the setting, I'd honestly prefer to keep it under $8k if possible.
Size: As large as the budget allows, was looking into 1.5ct +/- .3ct, but I'm more concerned with how it "faces" than actual carat weight, as with the setting I've picked I want it to look large compared to the setting.
Fiery and brilliant, probably just as important as the size
Color/clarity I'm more concerned with the above, willing to have a SI1 I color if it meets the above qualities, not sure how realistic that is.
Very hard to go off anything on Blue Nile that isn't a "signature ideal" because they don't have photos. I've looked on Whiteflash and Goodoldgold but I can't find a setting that's comparable to the one on Blue Nile. I've looked at a couple diamonds on Blue Nile but having a hard time comparing.
Anyone have any suggestions or can offer assistance, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
