Need some advice

Hi everyone! I used advice from this site to purchase a diamond ring from whiteflash and just received it in the mail today!

I was looking at the ring and at a specific angle I see what appears to be a darker band about 2/3 down from the top of the diamond. Is this normal?

Does it look amazing from the top though? Ie no girdle reflection from the top? Does this affect the brilliance?

It wont affect the brilliance, unless its a extremely thick girdle.
