Ok, so I got a 2.03 carat round stone, and need to find a thin band, low set, eternity or affinity, ring. The thinner, the better. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

The Michael B Petite Princess is 2 mm. For a 2 ct stone, they feel that the original Princess at 2.3 mm is more proportionate.

Here are some recommendations, good luck to you!

Michael b: This is a 2mm with a 2.2ct diamond here

I personaly love Brian Gavin''s fishtail pave (can be full eternity) here

LynnB''s fishtail pave-Harmony setting

thanks for the help guys. i forgot to mention she hates channel settings, and also hates cathedral settings..she tried on the enrichment solitaire by hearts on fire and loved it...so i''m looking for something similar. hope this helps.

Have you looked at the pave version of the D. Vatche Royal Empress? This photo is from Nice Ice (www.niceice.com ) a well-respected vendor on this site. But other vendors carry it too.

Here's the link to the thread I got this photo from. This thread includes a photo of the ring without the pave, set with a 1.40 diamond (I think the diamond in the photo is closer to a 1 carat) so you can get some idea of the proportions with a larger stone.

Has she ever looked at Memoire? I have a very thin shared prong eternity Memoire setting and love how low the diamonds sit.

This one is very similar. Too bad no face up photo but take a look at the other Truth heads.

Have you looked at Leon Mege? You want delicate - he can't be beat.

For a pave solitaire, I would guess around $2500 to $3500. Try requesting a quote from his website.

Anyone ever seen the WF micropave legato? I''d like to see more pics, but that ring looks perfect.

You might want to ask Pearlmans about the width of the shank--I know the solitaire version of this is 2mm but this PSer says her pave version is less than 2:
