Update: I've returned my purchase with Shane Co. (even though it never left their building), axed the Blue Nile diamond, and actually think I found the one. It's from Whiteflash.com and details are as follows:

Item Code: AGS-1040389740014

. Report: AGS
. Shape: Whiteflash ACA
. Carat: 1.252
. Depth %: 61.2
. Table %: 55.4
. Crown Angle: 34.9
. Crown %: 15.4
. Star : 53
. Pavilion Angle: 40.8
. Pavilion %: 43.1
. Lower Girdle %: 77
. Girdle: Thin to Medium Faceted
. Measurements: 6.97-6.99X4.27
. Light Performance: 0
. Polish: Ideal
. Symmetry: Ideal
. Culet: Pointed
. Fluorescence: Negligible

It's more money but it seems like a much better diamond and scored 1.1 on HCA. I was told that its eye-clean. I love some feedback on this diamond. Thanks!

Boomboom aka worry wart...lol
Hey you have been through it all. But this stone?? A winner!! Hoping you reserved it... I have dealt with them many times, and when they say eye clean they are spot on. No more worries. Best of luck to you Boom!

It's gonna be a stunner!

Thanks everyone! I now just need to figure out which band I want (going with a plain platinum band) and call them in the morning. I will definitely post pics once I receive it!

ACA looks promising from the numbers. IS and hearts image?

This one could be great, can you post the Idealscope and hearts image please?

Okay, I''m having problems loading the images and my computer guru is already off to work. Here''s the item code if anyone would like to take a look at it at WF:

AGS-1040389740014

Sorry.

Also, I just tried to read some threads regarding star lengths and now I feel totally confused! WOW...just when I thought I was getting an idea about diamonds...lol Anyway, can any explain star lengths in a simple way?

An ACA is a great brand, you can rest easy that you have selected a much nicer diamond. What is the color and clarity btw? I didn''t notice that.

It''s a F in color and SI1 in clarity. Thanks for the reassurance!

Okay here''s one image...

The images look great, should be a beautiful diamond. The lower girdle facet lengths have more of a visible effect on the diamond than the star size, very basically the shorter they get you see thicker arrow shafts, this means you can see more chunky flashes of light, thinner and this gives the arrows of the stone a more ' splintery' appearance and the light return is sharper. With ACA's the LGF are within desirable range and all ACA's are cut with the best visual balance in mind.

This thread goes into greater detail concerning [/url].

Thanks Lorelei! You are truly awesome! I''ll post pics when I get it...hopefully Monday or Tuesday.
