This and the first G you posted are both winners. In the one case you are saving a few thousand by dropping below the 1.5ct mark, but it will NOT be a visually noticable difference, which I like. In the second case you are above the 1.5ct and have a true H&A super ideal cut. In person they would both most likely look wonderful. So you just have to choose what matters more to you -- knowing it is above 1.5ct and is a super ideal, or knowing you save a few grand.

Numbers check out on both, need an IS image of the JA to confirm. GOG has better policies, read them up to see if you want to weight that in your decision.

I put the diamond on hold last night. I''m waiting to hear from Bob if the stone is eye clean. If it checks out then I''ll go ahead and make the purchase.
