Hi Dugg and welcome!

Lets make your link clickable firstly....

The diamond looks great, super cut and it should be beautiful. Also its a nice combo if you like very high clarity and G colour will still be extremely white, I think it could be a super choice.

You might want to put it on hold if you are seriously interested to prevent a lurker grabbing it, its a popular size.

Thanks for the replies. I''ll post some comparatives a little later, maybe help me narrow down the choices.

Thanks Duggs for taking the time to type all that out! I just need one more bit of info please, the crown and pavilion angles for the BN diamond and also the star and lower girdle facet percentages which will be on the report too.

Unfortunately I was unable to find those specs on blue nile

Try the grading report, the crown and pavilion angles will be on the diamond diagram in the crown and pavilion areas. Or post the link to the report or the report number then I can look it up from there.

Of the three listed here, which has the most potential?

The WF stone, because it is the only one with IS image available.

Yes, and its price is very good too.

I wonder if I can get the IS image from the other dealers...

Not from BN, don''t know about adiamor, but I doubt it.

Ditto, but you could ask Adiamor if they can get images for you.

I''m also considering dropping from a VVS1 to a VVS2

and moving up from a G color to an F

Opinions?

probably won't see any difference depending on you color sensitivity. Clarity definitely will not see a difference.

That is definitely an option.

No report, so not really enough information to have a rough estimate of the cut performance.

You won''t notice the increase in color and will not notice the change in clarity. In fact, you can *easily* go to VS1 without seeing anything because that grade means it is very difficult even to find the inclusions at 10x! You could get a bigger diamond if you went G/VS1

Will I see a difference from a G color to a D color?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make the best purchase possible.

In this size range I would not. Anyone looking at your ring would not.

you/your intended might, after comparing side by side for an hour... if you have superman as your neighbour he might notice without a master for comparison

Its unlikely with direct comparison with loose stones that you would be able to tell and highly unlikely when set.
