I have decided on a 1.5-1.65 round brilliant center stone for an engagement ring. All of you have helped me learn a great deal about RB's in the last few weeks, so thanks to you, I am comfortable with my knowledge here.
Now, I am considering one pear on each side. I viewed a setting recently that was awsome. I know absolutely nothing about pears however. With the size stated above for the center stone, what size should I be considering for the side stones (we don't want the ring to be too bulky).
Also, would someone please post some good dimensional specs to look for in the pear? The center stone will most likely be an ACA or Lazare. Should I be as concerned with the quality of these side stones?
