Need help with Pave Ring Style

The first link below is a ring my girlfriend likes, I have shown you this before. She really enjoys the antique look. She also likes the one in the second link, this we got from Leon''s site. I was thinking that I could join the two somehow and add the ring of diamonds to the first picture. I just cant figure out if that would look right and if I should just pick one or the other. I am not opposed to having it custom made. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
