Need Help... good proportions need idealscope/ASET?

Hi guys/girls

have been reading a lot since looking for a diamond however i am unsure about a few things

i have found the following

1ct F VVS1 in Ideal CUT ( GIA ) excellent symmetry/polish
56% table Depth 61.2% with Crown 34.5% and Pavilion at 40.8
no culet and medium girdle and no fluorescense

plugged it into a HCA with a score 1.2

am super happy with everything otherwise however

do i really need or will an idealscope picture make any difference?

its just that the price is really good as opposed to getting say one that is of the same specs with an idealscope picture

been struggling with this for a few days now would appreciate any help/light

I don't think I'd spend that much without an idealscope image, because if you look on a site like James Allen, you can see that not all excellent cut stones are equal. But I guess your other option is to order the stone loose, buy your own idealscope and check out the stone, and send it back if there is leakage.

Are you sure you don't want to go to maybe VS1 (which is totally clean) and get a larger diamond, though?

yeah i've actually decided to go with a vendor that can view the diamonds before hand, drove me nuts, managed to see some good "proportion" diamonds that still didnt look that great under an idealscope so im convinced... it was going for a good price thats all.. will consider VS1's now

I think you can safely drop down to G VS2 or F VS2. And I'd look into that.

thanks for the advice, seen even more idealscope pictures of good proportions now that are not great... ah the joy of pricescope.. time to go read up on idealscope images thanks for the advice!
