Need help evaluating handmade ring workmanship!

Hi Pricescopers! I need your help evaluating my ring. This is a 3.01 G VS2 VG/VG Asscher Cut, with handmade platinum shank/head, and micropave throughout. My question relates to how the diamond is set in the basket. I've attached a photo of the ring from a distance (picture 3), as well as 2 closeups of the basket setting--1 from the front and 1 from the side. As you can see, the front view (picture 2) shows that the diamond's culet is set slightly askew (not symmetrical in between the arms). From the side view (picture 1), the diamond's culet is set symmetrically. The diamond is set perfectly from the top down. My ring designer and his bench jeweler said that the setting is perfect, it's just the culet of the diamond that isnt perfectly symmetrical at the bottom of the stone. I revisited my appraiser and he said that while that may be the case, the diamond may be able to be moved slightly to the side to give symmetry in the basket from both the front and side. My appraiser said that all handmade work will have some imperfection, but this asymmetry seems to be fixable. So my question is: do you think this is a diamond/culet issue, or is this a workmanship issue and the diamond isn't set right? I don't think I'm crazy for making this an issue, but wanted to see if you all agree! Thanks for any perspective you can provide!!

It does look slighty off to me but I wouldn't think I would notice it at arms length. I suppose you need to decide if it will bother you knowing its like that.

That photo is a very magnified view. Would a jeweler even be able to make that correction? Do you notice the off-centered culet without magnification? What bothers me more is how the band looks shaved down where the head is attached. I don"t understand why they'd thin the band there. But I am no expert.

That picture is probably magnified 50x but if it really bothers you I guess I'd take it back in to the jeweler to possibly play around with the center stone a bit more and possibly get it just right. I'm also wondering why the band is shave off near the center, kind of looks off to me there.

The girdle is completely parallel to the halo... it looks like the diamond pavillion is the one that's not even. How does it look from the top? does it seem uneven? if they try to adjust it so the culet is even, the rest of it might look off...
