I have 2 emerald cuts that I can't decide between:
1.52 F VVS2
8.16 x 5.41 x 3.89
table: 70
depth: 71.9
ratio: 1.50
flour: none
culet: none
crown height: ?
price: 10,000 including platinum setting & mounting charge (note: it is loose)
1.51 E VS1
7.89 x 5.28 x 3.84
table: 68.6
depth: 72.4
ratio: 1.49
flour: none
culet: none
crown height: 11.1
price: 8500
The 1.52 stone is a big bigger cut, and slightly less deep than the 1.51 stone.
I have seen the larger stone in person, it looked great, & I liked the salesperson. The second one is available online & comes w/ detailed reports, including a better cut analysis, but I haven't seen it in person. I would also have to have it appraised & mounted seperately. I'm guessing the cost of that will put the cost of the diamond over $9000. I'm really having a tough time deciding any feedback is greatly appreciated.
