Need HELP choosing side stone design for Round center rock

Hello,

some of you may have seen my bling pictures on other forums. I just got this setting couple years back and now I want to change the design. I have not decided if I want to go for bigger center stone. So all your experienced and experts please give me some suggestions. What will enhance the beauty of my center stone? Should I use straight baguettes and go for 4 prong instead? Any ideas are welcome. I am going through so many forums and learning how useful PS has been to many out there. I wish I had known about this before I upgraded my piece, anyways, better late than never. So go ahead and run your mind with ideas and please send them my way. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Overall, any opinions on my current set, Should I keep or change?

How about a 3 stone? That's a big change from a solitaire...something different?

Not to threadjack but SarahB - where did you find that three stone picture? Is that a Sasha Primak ring?

Sorry to the original poster - I think the idea of a three stone ring would be beautiful for you. I'm a bit biased regarding a three stone but it definitely gives you finger coverage!

Tell us stats for your center stone - size, color, etc.! That would depend on the size side stones you would use.

I was going to also chime in with a three stone, maybe with pear sides? That's my favorite for an RB that's prong set

MGR: I use my iPad to surf the net, & when I save images, I can't title them. Or at least haven't discovered how to do so.

I have no clue where that pic came from, but just went the look at Sasha's page, & it looks just like it. Wish I could be more help, I have hundreds of jewelry photos, but nothing is labeled, which is very inconvenient. Maybe Apple could figure it out? Sorry! I think it's a really nice setting. Graceful even.

SarahB, it does look just like the Primak three stone. I had that saved on my old computer and thought it looked VERY familiar! At any rate, I love that three stone ring!

Hearts on fire has a lot of lovely solitaire settings that might inspire you.

The tiffany 'ribbon' setting adds a little interest to a round.


I really like this Tacori setting.
This is for an oval, but you get the idea.

Center stone is 1.41carat/D color/Ideal Cut
