Need Help Buying Diamond

Hello All,

I have just started looking for a ring for my girlfriend. I know the basics of the 4 C''s although getting the right cut seems hard if you are buying online. How do you really know what good is on each site?

Is this diamond good? Would this be considered a good cut?

I have never heard of that website...also not sure if that diamond is good or not bc even though the numbers and polish and symmetry might be good we still need an ASET image or at the least pictures of this princess. Have you seen this diamond in person?

Breann gave you some good advice and recommendations on those diamonds. Those are nicely cut. As she said, without pictures/ASET and other info, we have no way to know about the diamond you linked. I have never heard of that place either. Also, is that the actual diamond you were looking at? as at the bottom of the report it says:

This is a sample of what the actual report may look like.


At any rate, I would stick with the vendors Breann listed, except I don''t think BGD is selling Princess yet. Someone correct me if I''m wrong! Also, you can easily come down on color and clarity a bit, unless it''s simply a personal preference. In very well cut stones, these things are not as noticeable. G-H and VS2-SI1 is a very nice range. SI1''s can definitely be eyeclean!
