Need Community input on the indecisiveness

Jack, I purchased two diamonds from IDJ and my cushion diamond setting was made by Mark at Brilliantly Engaged.
Yekutiel just found a gorgeous round brilliant for me within my budget, its what he does best :D
I would see if IDJ can find you a diamond. Are you located in NY? Perhaps you can stop by IDJ and see the diamonds in person. The diamond he found me was not listed on his website so just bec its not listed on his website does not mean he can't find you one. Yekutiel found one gorgeous round diamond for me with perfect proportions gia and triple x, I am very pleased. The round brilliant is not set yet as I am still deciding what I want.
Give them a call and speak to Yekutiel at IDJ.
Good Luck!

Leaving work :twirl: , gym, dinner, idj and enchanted will have to wait another day!

Madison, read some of your old posts, quite an endeavor you went through, it was worth it from the pics! Since i am not in the city, i have to go by the reports and pictures.

Niel, what she wanted was the tacori royal T,style- ht2602rd95, pictures attached, but that was way above the price range. Know any similar rings for less?

Oh boy.

Yeah, that's a terribly expensive setting.

Can you just be honest with her and have her pick out a setting she likes as much, but in budget?

Hmm OK. Was there something specific she liked about it? OE just overall? I mean, does she just want a vintage feel? Three sided pave? A detailed basket? Or just likes the way the shank bulges out?

Of that's the setting she wants, I don't think a solitaire is a fabulous idea unless syou plan to upgrade in rh future.

Tell me about it gypsy ! She tried it on, when we went shopping to have an idea of what she wants and we both laughed when we saw the price! Glad that we are on the same page;) She is cognizant of my price range and diamond selections. Pics are below... So pretty!

Niel, she loved the intricate work and beading and how it lead up to the main stone, which felt almost as if it was projected out, tall prongs? We realized the length of the beading was too far down the ring. We are not getting this setting, but I am curious as to why you think a solitaire is not a good idea?

Because I'd she likes intricate settings that is the exact opposite. If you plan to have that solitaire as a temporary setting until you can afford the nice setrinfz that's one thing, but if this her forever setting, why get something that is the exact opposite of the style she liked? Know what i mean?

The decision we arrived was the ring would be forever, but since the tacori is not attainable, a simple solitaire setting showing the main diamond off would suffice.

Gypsy, I am going to call and chat with idj, enchanted, and a few others, It would be great if you could suggest under $12,500k, 1.5ct, g color, vs2 and higher, excellent cut, please? Thanks for the criteria and all the recommendations so far?
