Need advice purchasing a diamond !

Hi All,

I am looking into buying a diamond for my girlfriend. I have been doing a good amount of research and what she would like is a :

~2 Ct Diamond Radiant cut

I am looking to spend hopefully a max of ~12k and I have contacted a few dealers and also used rarecarat for help. The following are a few diamonds I was wondering if you could give me advice on :

2.01 ct I SI2 https://www.gia.edu/report-check?reportno=7336311611 ( I liked this one but a gemologist told me this has a knot and is not worth buying, it is priced at ~$10.2k)

Just a heads up since I used Rarecarat recently: I found that it was a great search engine, and was a great way to find vendors that were not in my radar, HOWEVER I ran into a couple of vendors that used exceptional prices on “virtual inventory” to get you to order. I ordered from one vendor, heard almost nothing for a week, and then received an email letting me know the stone is over seas so they don’t really know when/if they can get it, and offered me another diamond. It felt like a bait and switch.
I did find a vendor using Rarecarat, and ordered through the vendor’s site, where it was confirmed that it was in their physical inventory. That vendor has been very good about communicating and I’m optimistic I will get my ring within the next two weeks.
so, all that not to answer your question at all, but to offer a word of caution about the vendors in Rarecarat given the delays in over seas shipping presently.

What stone is this? The 1.92 or the 2.01?

For a stone under jewelers lighting its not that impressive.
