Need advice on RB diamond

I am new to this forum and I just want to say that this forum is great!!!! I am so glad that I found Pricescope since this site is full of information, experiences, pictures, etc.

I need help in deciding which ACA diamond from WF I should get for an e-ring.

#1) Report: AGS

Is there any difference between #1 and #2 besides the fact that #1 has a higher clarity, but lower carat and color. Obviously, there is a huge price difference between #1 and #2. My question: is it really worth the extra size (0.09 carat difference) and a better color (F vs G) for $1400 more? Is there any significant difference between 0.821 vs 0.901 and F vs G in reality? I am a little bit worry about the SI1 clarity for #2 and I haven''t asked WF whether it is eye clean or not. Both stones are within my budget. I just want to check whether it''s wise or not to spend the extra $$$ for #2. Which one do you think give better bang for the buck?


I also like these H&A diamond from GOG. Unfortunately, I don''t like any of their settings that are listed online. I don''t know how much trouble it would be to buy the setting from a different vendor.

Hi and welcome, re-posting the link so it is clickable, hope you don't mind; off to look at the links

I like both the WF ones you listed. I would ask if the SI1 is eyeclean. You probably won't notice a difference between a G and F.

I will ask WF whether the SI1 is eyeclean or not. Assuming that it is eyeclean, I still can''t decide which one to get. Which one would you suggest?

You might notice a little size difference with the diamonds unmounted, not so much when mounted in a ring. Both look good, if the SI is eyeclean then ask one of the WF folks which diamond has the most '' flair'' and to describe the personality of each, that could help you decide.

Thanks for your suggestion, Lorelei. I will call WF next week to ask them to describe both stones for me. Since you said there won''t be a big size difference when mounted, I am wondering if I should just get the 0.821 carat and use the $ difference to buy a nice setting.
