Need advice on OEC diamond

That’s funny. He’s actually designing an anniversary band for me using hearts and arrows diamonds. If it turns out well I might use him again for this one eventually.

And there will be milgrain around the diamond area!

Yes I did! I wanted some fun DK detail work in this ring so I thought maybe cute flowers would work well since the ring is mostly a row of diamonds.

Here’s the latest version where he raised the top a bit. It’s now 3.5mm tell above the finger. I want low set so it’s comfortable to wear. Am I better off going back to 3mm even if the detail gets hidden a bit? Or do you think 3.5mm is still pretty low? I noticed other 1ct rings are closer to 2.5mm.

I wish I could help here, but I have no experience with CADs and I do not have a 5 stone ring. Did he raise it to add in more detail on the baskets of each of the 5 stones? If you post specifically asking for CAD help (new thread) I think the experts of PS could really help you.
