Narrowed it down to 2, please help!

Hi again, I am sorry to be a pain and ask so many questions, although I promise this is the final one!!!

I have narrowed it down to 2 diamonds… G S1I 0.756 “a cut above”

I know the second one is a lot more expensive than the first one, so I would have to potentially chose another setting (I was going for ¾ eternity at $1,250)
ANY help is much appreciated, as I am not sure how much difference the extra 0.25 carat will make…

sorry I don''t know much about rounds...the extra .25 makes a huge diff in price though...once you cross the 1K mark prices go up quite a bit usually

I know! They go from a 0.78 directly to over 1c!!
No 0.8 or 0.9 or anything in that range!
Unless I don''t go for an ACA diamond.. but I really don''t know that much about cut, apart from go for the best cut..

One last thing.. the ACA 1 carat J S11 mentioned above is $4,866.. The same specs 1 carat J S1 from their expert selection is $3,954

the idealscope on the j/si1 es stone looks great. i would definitely consider putting that one at the top of the list.

Mary, there is such a big difference between G and J! If you like warmer colors, then why pay for a G? But if you like a whiter stone, I wouldn't go under I, personally. H is a good value, too. Did you look at the H stones?

Yes, I would like a whiter one, but the lady on the phone says that a J which has a good cut looks like an I.. not sure if that is true or not, or wether she wants me to pay for the more expensive diamond!
