OP, you asked for honest opinions, in my honest opinion, your first instinct to be displeased with this work was correct. I'm sorry. Your picture with this caption, "one more cus I think this one really shoes how much metal there is around the stone..." isn't close to the original cad.

Late to the discussion, but I can see the difference between the CADs and the ring... I also think the bezel is pretty thick. I say if you aren''t happy then have it fixed, otherwise it will just continue to bug you... I hope you can get this fixed to your satisfaction

It does look a little thicker in real life than it does in the cad. I still think it''s gorgeous though.
