I wasn''t sure which forum this would be best in, but SMTR gets more traffic.

I just got my wedding necklace from the jeweler yesterday! I''m so excited about it. It was my one big splurge for the wedding day, and since it didn''t fit in the budget (and I refused to go into debt for my wedding), it went on layaway. Heh. Unheard of nowadays, I know.

Anyway, here it is! It''s an aquamarine in an antique-looking setting with little diamonds. The chain also has tiny diamonds inlaid every inch or so. It''s my something blue, and it matches my wedding colors.

I love the diamond stations throughout the chain - so delicate. I am sure you will be a beautiful bride!

Absolutely beautiful! It''a gorgeous necklace and looks great on! What a perfect length. What kind of neckline do you have for the wedding?

Beautiful! Reminds me of my wedding. My gown was silk dupioni and the skirt was white but the top was light blue. I wore a long string of pearls and hung a blue topaz pendant from it. I love light blue!

Wow that is pretty

Gorgeous - I love your whole EC theme, too!

Oh wow! What compliments!!

Frekechild and moonwater - haha....we'll have to do a switch up of items!

IrishBreakfast - that's what I loved the MOST about the chain...those diamond stations! And the coolest thing about it is that I got the chain separate from the pendant! They just went perfectly together!

Ice Princess - Thanks! It's a 16" length (I think). I wanted it to be short, because I am wearing a strapless gown with a straight neckline.

NeverEndingUpgrade - your gown sounds so gorgeous! I'd love to see pictures! I actually love this piece because it goes so very well with my antique-meets-modern look of my own gown (lace over satin) and my wedding set. I really wanted to wear something blue with my gown ("something blue" aside).

mtlgal - WOW! Exquisite taste! Thank you so much for saying!!

Thanks to everyone else for your grand complliments! You are all so very sweet, as always!!
