My Waxes are In :)

Very pretty! Love the Pear! For some reason I wanted to squeeze the wax around the kites ... like outlining their shape instead of them floating in the platinum channel? Will the inside of the channel be polished?

Thanks Deco!!! Yes the inside of the channel will be polished and it didn't work out to pinch off the wax to outline the kites-I guess the kites have been giving the designer some grief! We had a lot of initial conversation about doing it that way but it just wouldn't work I guess. We also, spoke about opening the shank up and making it a split shank with the kites set in between with V prongs-but that didn't work out either.

Deco-just noticed that you added to your response...

I guess I am not too worried about the patina, I should ask what Plat alloy he uses-because I have several other rings from him and none of them have gotten much of a patina at all.

Thanks popcorn! I love the kites, but I think that they have been giving the designer some grief with my pear(I think that they''d be fine with a RB, Cushion, Radiant, etc-something symmetrical).
