Actually, about 4 months ago (around our 2-year anniversary) I started wearing my wedding band on my right hand. I never quite liked how the band threw off the swooping curve in my e-ring. So, I have been wearing it like that... hubby likes it way better like that too.

What do you think?? Would you wear it with the band? Occasionally I am asked "When are you getting married?" and i just tell them "I am married, and I like the way it looks this way", and they usually just say "oh."

The reason I have a plain gold band is both practical and sentimental. First... my parents weddings bands have always been plain gold... and they were role models of love for me. It's just what I always associated with a wedding band. And second, I am an elementary school Art teacher, elbow deep in clay or finger paint does not work well with a diamond-set wedding band!!

I taped a white index card to the front of my camera (not covering the lens obviously). The diamond reflected back some white, rather than my headshadow as I leaned over to take the photo.
