My Tycoon love has FINALLY come along …

That’s how I feel because I purchased this diamond (1.77ct F/SI1 branded Tycoon cut) almost 5 years ago from @Rockdiamond at Diamonds by Lauren. The back story/thread can be found here and here is the link to diamond on DBL’s website.

I’m sad that it lived in my safe’s darkness much of that time, but I went back & forth numerous times trying to decide on the perfect ‘dress’ that - many times - I had to take a break from thinking about it, so back to the safe it went. Then, a couple months back, I saw CvB’s ‘Andraste’ setting with an asscher-cut diamond on IG, and I immediately knew it was perfect in every way, offering protection for the diamond’s edges & clipped corners; a beautiful fluid frame showcasing the cut; modern yet feminine design. The only change I made (from the version on IG, which had brushed finish) was to opt for polished, liquid-looking luxe platinum. She’s a smidge big on my finger, which is always swollen due to our heat, so I may need to opt for sizing humps. For now, I have some of the clear sizing strip things.

Alas, here she is! Below are Caysie’s pictures & video, which are far better than mine. It was too dark when I got home with it last night & this morning is pouring rain, mega-muggy & overcast, so my camera fogs up & won’t even focus outside.

I absolutely love it & the presence/size on my finger. It’s not so big that I feel self-conscious wearing it (like my ACA/Sholdt 3-stone), but it’s not so small that my finger feels naked … Goldilocks!
