My tourmalines are here!

My Barry tourmalines are here! And so is their buddy from Freke. They''re so pretty and sparkly. And so hard to get pictures of. Photos to follow.

First the vendor picture. This is exactly what I saw when I opened the box. The stones actually range from true green to a very minty blue-green. So gorgeous.

And now on to the stone from Freke. It really is gorgeous with a lot of personality. There''s already a thread on this stone so i''ll only post a couple.

Here it is in the box. Showing it''s darker color and a little bit of the yellow.

Thanks Freke! I''ve named the stone from you, the Freke diamond. I know it''s not a diamond... it just felt right. lol

tourmaline_lover: thanks... the red/orange stone is an Oregon Sunstone, from precision gems. I''m gonna do a thread on it sooner or later. It''s really hard to get a good photo of. very elusive

Thanks so much everybody. No I don''t have any setting ideas to share for most of the stones. I''m pretty sure that the "freke diamond" is going to be a LOGR pendant, and the three Barry tourmalines are going to be earrings and a ring. No ideas what to do with the sunstone.
