Hi, its me again, the one resetting her 4 carat princess. I have literally scanned this site for endless hours and have had so much help to get this new design right. It has gone from a fancy halo to a very sleek and simple eternity ring design with 7 pointers on the sides.

My final decision is to have 2 thin eternity bands either side or one band (either 7, 5 or 3 pointers?).

Please help with this decision as it is expensive with our low dollar and I could nevr afford to redo this again!!!!!

both choices have a gap which I like.

TIA Sharon

What are you asking for help with? The size of the stones? Or whether to go with one or two bands?

I would either match the size of the stones in your new e-ring mounting -or- go slightly smaller, so your e-ring stands out.
So I would use either the seven pointers or the five pointers, but not the much smaller stones. I''d probably choose the 5 pointers myself, so your e-ring is the main attraction but still has a nice complimentary frame around it.

I like the look of 2 thin eterninty bands.

Hi, my computer was playing up last night so thats why my post was quite short!

Anyway, what I was asking was to go for two eternity bands, 3 pointers each, to wear either side. It is a more symetrical but stripey look. It sort of looks like the ring is one big area of sparkle, but it is obvious that there are three bands due to the gap.

Or.....should I go for one band? With one band there is the opportunity of going bigger than 3 pointers, ie 5 or even 7.

I wondered what look the people here think is better. One etenity band is more traditional, two is more a feature???

The cost is quite high and to be honest, I find it hard to justify that the 3 pointers are about $1800 each. Im thinking that one bigger band is more practical than 2 very thin bands?? But at the same time I ultimately want to buy what looks the best here & know that I chose the best option.

FWIW, Im very happy with the makeover, thrilled actually, and cant wait to post photos. It has been amazing to get the diamond out of that bulky huge setting!!!!

I personally like the look of just one, so classic! And I understand about the smaller stones...makes more sense to go bigger with a big center stone IMO. If your center stone was smaller I would say go smaller with the band, but since it's a 4 carater it can easily carry a 5 or 7 pointer eternity band!

I''m with neatfreak, one band with .5-.7 gets my vote, very classic.
