Hello,

Thank you one again to everyone who helped me purchase this diamond/ring. I love it and its beautiful!! I did have it appraised and it matches the certificate exactly, even though the report was an older 2009 one. Now I have to consider insurance.

You wouldn't believe this but I just got on PS today to ask you if your ring was in yet!

This is utterly perfect! So white and the arrows are lovely. And the setting looks so delicate. Its stunning.

That swirl design is lovely. I think most executions of a style like that world look too deliberately "artistic" or ostentatious, but this one is rendered quite delicately. I think it's great!

Thanks!!. I was also considering the similar A. Jaffe setting, however it was out of my price range. I could say that my whole ring cost about the same as the A. Jaffe setting alone .

I also did try on the Gabriel & NY swirl setting, however, as I have thin fingers, the swirl /band/diamond covered the entire width of my finger and it just looked too big on my finger. I think the swirl metal, was thicker and the design made it look more wide, so overall the whole swirl halo had a greater width.

The James Allen swirl band is more thinner and its wrapped around tighter against the diamond, so the swirl/diamond doesnt cover my entire finger, but just the center part, so you can also see the thin pave bands on either side of the swirl /diamond on my finger too.

As someone else mentioned here, it looks more delicate.

Just a few things to consider, if you are planning to go with this type of setting.

Forgot to mention, about the pictures, I just placed the ring on a white printer paper and used the macro setting on my SLR camera to take pictures. Though the pictures really dont do justice to the beauty of the ring
