Hi everyone! I''m new here, but now that I''ve found PS I can''t get enough. I recently had a custom wedding band made to accompany my engagement ring. After 7 years of marriage without a band, I have officially put an end to the "Are you engaged?" commentary by strangers. Ahhh, it feels good. So, here''s my little contribution to PS eye candy! Sorry my photography skills are lacking. My good ole point-and-shoot camera doesn''t quite understand what it means to be artistic & fancy

Its beautiful and unique :)

Congratulations on the wedding set of your dreams :)

I absolutely love your set! Your ering is so pretty, the detail work on it is amazing! And the band compliments the ring perfectly! Could you tell us a little more about your ering? It looks like a genuine antique ring. I adore it!!

Thank you for the sweet compliments! Here''s the stats on my engagement ring:

Band: Platinum, filigree, circa 1920s
Center stone: European cut/.46 ct/VVS2/color F
Surrounding stones: .03 ct each/SI1/color G

It''s a gorgeous set! I really love the design elements.

Oh, that''s just lovely! Very romantic styling on both rings.

Wow, those details! That scroll-like element to the platform(?) portion of your engagement ring is so unique and lovely. Nice!

It''s lovely, congratulations to you both

I love your e-ring - is it an antique?

Whoa! That wedding band looks amazing with your e-ring (which is stunning BTW). I''m so happy for you!

What a beautiful vintage ring -- very elegant. The band looks great with it. Congratulations and enjoy wearing it!

It looks great! Congratulations!

Very pretty!

Wow, what a lovely set! Your e-ring is gorgeous! I love everything about it. It looks wonderful on your hand! Where did you find such a wonderful
antique ring? I''ve seen alot of antique rings but I think yours is one of the most beautiful I have seen! Congratulations on a wonderful find and new
band to complete it!

Thank you so much to everyone for posting such nice comments!!! Today was my little set and mine''s first day out on the town together(aka: sitting through a two hour lecture on theoretical sociology), and we''re getting along great.

ecf8503: It''s almost an antique. I was told a piece of jewelry has to be 100 years old or older to be officially called an antique. Assuming that''s true, my ring was made in the 1920s so it''s getting there!

luv2sparkle: I bought my ring from a jewelry store called Jewelry Box Antiques in Kansas City, MO. I originally had intended to travel back to Kansas and have them create my band as well, but I recently discovered they had moved and their phone number is out of service. I hope they weren''t forced out of business due to the current economy because it was a wonderful store owned by a great gemologist named Doug Webster.

Great set!
