I don't think I have any photos of the originals. It was just that the posts were too thick and curved for me to insert them comfortably. They also hurt my ears.

So your jeweller cut them off at the hinge and filed the bottom down a bit, and added a straight post? I’m glad you’re able to enjoy them now, such a pity to have 2ctw of ACAs sitting in the jewellery box. Now yours can sparkle in sunshine again
