jetmal....well, i sure dig your verragio. i was lookin'' at the same ring, except it had no diamonds ''paved'' into the prong arms. what i liked about the verragio, and the ''claude''....is the fact that the ring continues under the diamond. reminds me of the tension rings...where the diamond seems suspended and you can see all around it....but, again, your ring is ''smashing'' my dear!

I must say that is stunning! I love that its so high set so that you can see the whole stone! REALLY adds to the beauty of it!

I also got very few responses when I posted my ring, and I started to feel quite sorry for myself (I totally commiserate). You start to wonder, did I do something wrong esp. since I didn''t really get comments from a lot of the big hitters on the site. I think the thing is, when you lurk on a site like this, you build such admiration fpr the people that are highly knowledgeable that when you think its your turn to shine, and get very little, it''s a shock (not that you don''t appreciate the comments you do get). It''s really hard to have that feeling when you''re so proud of what you have. Anyways, sorry for being long-winded...

Moral of the story -- YOUR RING IS AMAZING! I''m glad you went with something completely out of the orindary!

for me, many times it's hard to keep up with SMTR and what is posted so i don't get to nearly all of the threads that are posted!!! i typically just go in if it's an interesting title or someone i know from previous posts or if someone says 'did you see that ring' etc. i always am finding threads i missed!!
