Sara it''s gorgeous, one of my favourites (I had the Tiffany one on my wishlist for years and came across one very similar in a store and purchased it - mine is 14k yellow gold). I do prefer the white gold it show up the diamonds beautifully, enjoy wearing it.

And as far as an ''academic'' setting... my ''sparkle lust'' was ignited by an Art History professor with a 3 stone - what happened to that ring when she pointed to images on the projected slides was nothing short of fireworks! I swear that''s why I became an Art History major!!!! Don''t worry about it being ''inappropriate''.... just enjoy. It is what it is.
