My new setting - LM custom double halo with pink sapphires

Short history, my old setting broke (prong snapped) and I'm lucky I didn't lose my diamond. I'm now the proud owner of a custom double halo (pink sapphires and diamonds) in platinum and 18K rose gold done by Leon Mege. I'm TOTALLY in love with the new setting! It's definitely my style and turned out exactly as I had envisioned it. So wonderful! Process was painless (except for the whole waiting part... that was excruciating). Now I have to remember how to post the photos. I'm a long time lurker and minimal poster. Please excuse the cell phone pics and crappy lighting. Just got it today and haven't had a chance to break out the big camera.

Thank you all! I didn't go with pink diamonds because I don't prefer the pale pink color. I wanted vibrant pink and the sapphires were perfect for that. I wanted a plain shank because I've had a diamond eternity band and I realized that I can't stand the feeling of the bumpiness between my fingers. It's a shame because paved shanks are beautiful but I couldn't get over the feeling so I had to sell my eternity ring.

I forgot to post that the center stone is a J VS2. Our son saw the ring for the first time this morning and said "Wow Mama, your diamond is back! It's sooooo pretty! Good job Mama!" He knew I was designing the new setting and I guess in his 6 year old mind thinks I actually made the ring. Hahaha!

Worked late last night so I didn't get any photos with the good camera yet but thought I'd post a few more. Hope you don't mind!
