Congratulations on getting engaged! It''s always nice when you have an heirloom diamond to set in your e-ring. And your ring has so many different details -- the pear sides fan out from the center stone into the 3-sided diamond studded band, which is quite chunky and substantial. The side view reveals the multiple sweeping prongs and various ornate details in the metal-work. You''ve got a "bling" ring for sure! Enjoy!

Transitional cuts can be so pretty and I am glad you had it in a ring that seems to fit the feeling of the stone. The setting is very ornate and I especially like the pave on all 3 sides. Adding pears really do create a beautiful combination!
