My new oval solitaire!

I have had so much fun looking at everyone's beautiful pieces. You all have such magnificent taste and have give my DH and myself ideas on what to buy for my anniversary gift (I plan to re-set my original ER into a RHR). I'm pretty easy to please, I wanted a larger size stone and skimped on color, clarity. I did a PS no-no and purchased from Blue Nile sight unseen. Happily though, I am so enamored by my ring and can't believe it's mine.

Strong Blue Fluor. (I can never spell that word)
RS 4.5

If I look really close I can see a couple tiny spots but from 12" and beyond it's clear.
Had I gone higher color/clarity or went with a RB I couldn't have touched a 2.5.

Thank you all for your sweet compliments. I really appreciate your comments as I'd feel
like such a major show off if I told my friends about it.

Here's a pic of my original RB, it's @ 1.4, probably a I-2 or I-3, color is probably a J or K. No papers on it. I still
love it, never realized how dull it is until I came here. Will eventually reset to a 3 stone RHR.

After looking at PS I feel my oval isn't really that big, jeez I need to stop looking at everyone's pieces. I picked the oval shape because I thought it would be a good way to get the size I aspired to and stay within budget. I liked Blue Nile a lot because they have a section where you can see recent custom made rings

however I did have to badger them for pics (which they never sent) and corresponded with about 6 different people having to explain myself over each time. I do feel that I got a great price.

Yep cute little rose gold eternity, I like the mix of metal colors.

I really appreciate everyone's well wishes and compliments, it means a lot to me. I know I made the right choice but it sure helps to be validated by jewelry aficionados such as yourselves.
