Ow I love it don''t change it a bit. Plus if you ever decide to wear it seperate you can! They have so many options! Enjoy they are beautiful!

I think it''s a perfect match!

I think that they look perfect together. They look like they were made for each other!

Wow - could there be any question?? The two rings look divine together.

I hope you wear them together AND get ridiculous pleasure while doing so!

I''m hyperventilating...........quick, someone get me a bag.............and a glass of wine...............

It''s GAWGEOUS!!!!

they are seriously beautiful together, but i just saw the side of your e-ring,.... they also look like they will be seriously dangerous together! you will need to wear a spacer, i think something not just shiney metal, maybe something thin and carved like th side of your e ring, or fused in some way? i have a crazy idea that i want to tell my jeweler about. i want to have like little gold "nubs" put on the bottom and sides of my e and wedding rings so the nubs rub, not the metal or diamonds. i dont even know if that can be done. i dont think you can get away with a smaller wedding ring with that e ring, unless you went with all metal.

I''m sorry, please don''t hate me, this is only my opinion, but since you wanted them I will say that I am not crazy about them together. I

your e-ring and I kinda think the band does detract from it''s bling power a little. I wonder if perhaps two low profile, simple platinum bands, one on either side of your e-ring, would look good? It would add symmetry and also let your e-ring be the star!

But that''s just my personal taste, I am a simple sorta gal! The rings are lovely and if you like the look (and lots of others here totally seem to love it too!!) then keep it and wear that bling with pride!

DD
I hate being in the minority, but I''ll have to agree with DD. I love the idea of one or two thin platinum bands or possibly thin pave bands. But like DD, my personal preference leans toward more simple and elegant than super blingy.

Okay, I did a search on spacer rings and found this. Do you think this would look okay w/them? Does anybody know if I can find these in stock anywhere?

ds,
Thanks for your honest response. I did try on some other diamond bands, but didn''t think anything but the shared prong looked like it when with it. Thats why I started w/the 2 ct. I really didn''t want it to look like I was just going for the bling. That band just got lost, kind of looked like a after thought. Now I am worried that the 3 ct is to much.
I am beginning to think this is causing to much stress! Maybe I should take the money and apply it toward something else!

Again Thanks for you thoughts,
cwj

I think they look great together. It''s a keeper!

I am going to side with the "simple girls" - it looks lovely, but I think that the band is just too much with your e-ring. I would opt for even a plain band or something a lot more simple.

Don''t despair! I feel your pain, it is so frustrating when things aren''t EXACTLY what you want!! If you aren''t totally loving the look of your rings, it really doesn''t matter that others think they are hot stuff (and your rings are hot stuff! I am only commenting because you still don''t seem totally enthralled with them...). I can see the dilemma with such an amazing and eye-catching e-ring, what do you pair with it? I really do love the e-ring
30.gif
the proportions are amazing! I can see that it wouldn''t looks so hot with one simple band next to it though, which is why I suggested 2 bands, one either side. You could try 2 really thin pave bands, like 2mm, one on either side, if you don''t like plain bands. Have you tried it with a really small shared prong band?? If matching the size of your e-ring ban''d stones isn''t totally floating your boat, maybe embrace the contrast and get a wedding band that is a very very different scale, then the mis-match in scale would look purposeful and eye-pleasing. I''m thinking 3pointers or something. I still think the best look would be a really thin band (diamond or plan) on either side though.

I liked the spacers you showed too. I think that Researcher has a large e-ring and a spacer between it and her shared prong band. Her spacer is plain. You could try going custom if you wanted to try a spacer, W-flash did Researchers.

Don''t get stressed out, think of this issue as a hobby project! You will find what you love soone enough.

DD

I like both pieces, together or separate...however, I would consider getting a very thin, inexpensive spacer ring...I think that would eliminate the feeling of seeing too much together.
Odd question, but have you tried looking at your hands in a mirror at some distance? Do you like how much sparkle you see, or does it seem too much? We are all looking at your rings the way that you would, up close....but a mirror would show how people a few feet away from you would see them, and might give you a different perspective on them.

I really LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I love the look of your ering as well. , I am in the minority as well. I think your ering should stand out. I think you lose the ering when you combine it with the wedding band. I also think something smaller and/or one on either side of the ring would work better.

I think you are stuggling with this and the fact that you just don''t say, wow, I love that look, would say to me that it isn''t the right choice in your gut. IMHO

Let us know what you decide.

reader,
I have looked at them it the mirror, thats the reason I keep going back and forth. If I had only look down on them I would have returned it the first day. At a distance in the mirror I like it. But I also like the E/ring alone in the mirror. It is two totally different looks! I have been looking at different sites for a spacer band thinking that would help and protect them at the same time. I would need something really small (1mm) to fit on my finger with the other two.

I know this is a wonderful problem to have and I feel like a ungreatful brat, but I just can''t get off the fence. I am so thankful to have u guys to whine to! I don''t think hubby would understand!

Thanks again,
cwj

yes, that thin little ring on the end is very close to what i had in mind, i think thats what you need and would look great! where did you find it? try it out. some are saying that wedding band is too much, i can see what they are saying, but like you said, its a completely different look. you dont always have to wear them togerther, but when you want major bling some days, then i think you got it! you are right, it IS nice to have your problems! you can alwasy keep looking for a nice etched or carved band (thicker than the spacer) to wear with that e ring on your non major bling days too. i like options. i dont think i would put two thin metal ones on each side thought. i just dont think it would look good. i would sooner just wear it as a stand alone.

I haven''t found it at any store. It is here and belongs to Fuffi. https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/eternity-xmas.22761/
I would love to find one like that, thats not a custom so I can try it and return it if I don''t like it. If anybody sees something like that, let me know please.

Same song different verse: what do u think of this band? I know its the same size, weight and etc. Just not a basket, but it seems to be a great price.

I think they look great great together! It is blingy...which is not a bad thing, but is it ''you''? Is that why you''re questioning them together?

My vote is to keep it, and if you have days where you want to be a bit less sparkly, how about a plain band?

ok cwj, here is the exact problem you are facing. because the "accent" diamonds on your ring are not really "accent" sized, they are larger, it gives your e ring a hard to match kind of situation in terms of a wedding ring. that natural tendancy for most eyes will be to want to look for a wedding ring with similar sized stones on it as your "accent" stones next to your big old diamond. the link to the eternity band you posted is a good price, but are those stones going to be the same size as the ones in your e ring? what are all the stone sizes you got going on there btw? it looks like if the ones in the eternity band you linked to are .14 each, they will be about 3.3 mm. that seems smaller than what you have in your e ring, but you tell me. your other problem, (not really but you know what i mean) is the beautiful work in the side of your e ring, that you should protect. if you want to stick with a band that has the same size stones in it as your e ring, like you have, then how about this spacer to protect them. heck of a price! http://www.jewelbasket.com/jbnnpaprika-white.html

or if you want to do a metal band as a stand alone, how about this
30.gif
http://www.mickyroof.com/vcimg905/2004-3.jpg probably not in stock though

or if yow want a non curved thicker metal band, how about this? http://www.antiquejewelrymall.com/r209p.html

if you like the bigger diamond wedding band, the i would measure everything and make sure you had the same sized stones in both wedding band and e ring, then use a spacer like the one in the first link.

opps. and forgot to mention that i dont think the shared prongs on the one you linked to will save you any scratching. i have a shared prong 2 ct none eternity band that ate into my solitare. the diamonds are what did the eating in that case.

I don''t really like them together, too busy for my taste. I do think it would be fabulous if you wore the new band on your left ring finger and switched the ER to your right hand.

You are wonderful, I love the first band. I don''t know what size a 2mm band is, but I have a old band that I have taken some pictures of with it in the middle. I think it is to thick for my finger.( goes to far up) I am posting some of it, let me know what u think. (I know I would need white)

what do u think?
