#JOTW My new 3.20ct Q/R OMC in her freshly Klass engraved bezel setting

Last year I bought my first OMC. A slightly elongated N/VVS1. She was a beauty but over time I realized I prefer a more square OMC , maybe lower colored... I had no immediate plan to get one but then that dang IG bling slinger Sin City posted a 3.20 Q/R Si1 OMC. 8.93x 9.04. I tried SO hard to ignore it. (I really did!) :)

Long story short, I made a deal with Diana and now she's mine! I have some future setting ideas, but wanted to wear it NOW. I had my old omc's original plain 18k yg bezel setting. I love the gold color, the ring was made in Germany & the yg is just beautiful. I sent pics to DK to see if he could fix it & set my new stone. And then I asked if he could engrave it.

And of course the DK team blew me away with the engraving!

The stone doesn't fit 100% so this is definetly temporary, but the stone is secure and I'm enjoying the ring! Ultimately I'm dreaming of a two tone setting to match my wedding band (s).

You have incredible taste, @CHRISTY-DANIELLE and that ring is STUNNING. I wouldn’t even make another setting! I’m so glad you didn’t settle and got what you wanted in the end.
 
The diamond looks gorgeous and I love mixed metals! Best of both worlds. Enjoy your new ring to the fullest; sounds like it was meant to be!

So so gorgeous! I remember your last stone in that setting and wow, it’s amazing how different it looks with just a bit of milgrain and engraving! Two stone setting sounds like a fantastic idea for the new stone.

This is about the most perfect old cut I’ve ever seen. Old Mine Cushion. …From every angle, perfection. Wow! And the setting is really pretty. I love the yellow gold and beautiful engraving. (Looks great with the color and dimensions of your diamond, I love that the crown is so puffy, can you tell us about who made this setting?) I’m soooo happy for you, this must feel like a long sought for treasure.

EDIT: I just read that DKJ engraved your plain setting! Visionary!

You say it's temporary but I love it, I LOVE IT. The only thing I would do is double row tiny milgrain on the bezel.
I want it so bad my eyes are crossing.920956
 
Golden goddess! So lovely and the engraving is “chef’s kiss”.
 
So gorgeous!! And I love how rich in gold the ring is with the entire set with a nice balance from your two tone bands.

Absolutely stunning stone, beautiful pillowy shape and the faceting is absolutely TDF. I see why she kept calling you! And the setting is the perfect temp setting! She sings in yellow gold for sure.
