Cool, I loved your story. Does the K have fluorescence? I agree, that lower color stones are the best-kept secret (if they''re cut well!). Beautiful stone and ring. Thanks for sharing.

Another.. you can kinda see the color sneakin in here a little bit. Most of the time though, I swear it looks more like an F than a K. When I louped this stone, I could see tiny cuts that were very symmetrical all over the back--not like any other I had looked at, tried on, or owned. Also, I really like the different look of the table- I don''t know how to describe it-it curves inward at places. The whole thing throws sparks of color. Definitely got personality. Wish I could meet the person who cut it.

Lizz- thanks!-no flour-although, I secretly want a ring with some. I have a friend with a pear with med flour and it is gorgeous.

Matatora, I LOVE winter white. Sometimes this thing is almost pink, if that makes sense. It''s really a good color for me-kind of peaceful, ya know?

Julian, Yes, it is definitely crisp to me, That''s what struck me about it the first time I saw it. It''s just a happy little stone.

Oh, and yes, I liked the setting for how it was understated--I toyed with the idea of a three stone and then when I saw this setting it added some little sparkle to the sides w/o being "all that."

Yes, I got kind of carried away with the bunny thing, lol. I find myself dragging out the strangest things to try to get a good picture on...dh just stands there looking at me kind of funny. Let''s see, my potted Rosemary, chain link fence, the cat''s head...
And, I have finally learned that cut is everything. I feel like I''ve won the lottery...

Thank you thank you!!! I feel like I''ve adopted another pet (one I don''t have to feed, get shots for, change the litter box... you get the idea..) (except bathe). I already have 5 cats, 5 dogs (4 are chihuahua''s which count as what, 2 regular sized dogs?), and a myriad of small fish.
