I finally have my finished ring Ive been searching for a very long time to find the perfect (for me) EC with a cut which maximises fire whilst still having a good face up size for the weight. And I wanted squarer proportions rather than the more elongated look which seems to be more typical with ECs.
Here are the specs of the EC:

The ring is 18k white gold with H/I color melee to complement the centre stone. I was hoping that avoiding high color melee would create less color contrast against my J color EC. It seems to have worked because my EC faces up white (to my eye) in nearly all lighting conditions.
Its a right hand ring although I took most of the pics with it on my left hand. Here they are:
