What a gorgeous ring - I love the color of the stone and the design of the setting -- and the rose gold!
Wow!!! so pretty!!! I love the warm color fromt he L diamond! The rose gold on the side is such a unique touch. And it looks HUGE on her tiny hands. congrats!
I LOVE the profile on that halo--and usually that is the only thing that I''m not fond of with halos
And who knew that stone was a L color. It looks warm and yummy!
And then there is the rose gold

I know you are all very kind with your words, as I saw some of your avatars and it was brilliant!!
I learned a new word now. I didnt know the rose gold part was called 'basket'..
Yes the 2-tone white & rose gold was something that I want my gf to have. Initiatly I wanted to input all 3 tones of gold in it. But I could not figure where should the yellow gold be so instead I had just leave it at 2-tone.
I understand many stated of the huge finger coverage. IRL it looks larger than it was in photos. I know it sound unbelievable as I saw many comments in PS before regarding how photos make their diamond rings appear bigger. As for me, the whole ring look even larger on her finger in real life. However, I believe it should be the halo that helps the finger coverage.
From this website: Diamond Measurements
I learn that a 1 carat cushion should have a perimeter of 22mm.
I believe my 1ct diamond is slightly larger with a perimeter of 24.78mm.
junebug17,
my gf was more than willing to return the ring back to me due to the too-big ring size, thick band, etc and most important of all, I know she would want me to do a good proposal. And I want to do it also.
Lovely ring! I''d like to see some close ups of the stone itself. It certainly puts off alot of sparkle in the photos you posted. And it looks very large on her finger. Maybe it''s more than 1/2 size too big?

Thanks so much for those lovely comments.
Stone Hunter,
Indeed the ring size is too large, it look 1 or 3/4 size larger. My gf''s right ring finger is much much larger than her left ring finger but this ring size is able to fit into my gf''s right ring finger. There must be a problem. So yesterday, i actually took it down to resize and make the relevant changes to the ring such as 3/4 of the band covered with diamonds rather than the 1/2 covered now. Also to make the band thinner at 1mm. Here are the stone close ups as per requested.
