My gf''s going-to-be ering (PICS)

Apolologies for being a bad photographer. I have got to say, pictures do not do justice to the diamond and ring.
I just got the ring back from the jeweler on Friday.
I have not actually proposed but she found the ring!! So the ring somehow landed on her left ring finger and we took some photographs of it. However, the size was too large. I told the jeweler what my gf''s finger size is, but the jeweler insist on 1/2 size larger since this setting is abit thick on the top side. But I was proven right that this ring was way too big on my gf''s petite finger. It kept slipping off her finger. The band was also too thick as my gf would definitely prefer something on the thin side like 1mm, the band was 1/2 covered with diamonds instead of the 3/4 covered as agreed upon. So I have to get back to the jeweler to change quite a few stuffs & am afraid that I could not made it within my time to proposed by 31st July.
But I have to be fair to the jeweler, the workmanship was magnificient and gorgeous other than the not good part I mentioned above. I love the profile of the setting.

it''s GORGEOUS and i''m loving the setting as well! just out of curiosity, what''s her finger size? she must have dainty hands because it looks a lot bigger than a 1 ct! so did you end up doing the proposal or are you planning something special? how exciting!

UCLABelle, Thanks.. Cushion is really nice. The warm yellow of L color add sophiscated feel and makes the whole thing goes wonder...

Thanks so much for your kind comment. But it indeed has a very nice and delicate profile of the ring (the part where it was rose gold with some micro diamonds?) However, my camera wasn't able to capture the nice part. I will try and post again later...

vip0802, thanks... It appear big is it because of the halo-setting? Or maybe due to the diamond face-up measurements at 6.94x5.45mm? Her size should be a size 4, i believe.
Oh no, i did not do the proposal. She found the ring and she put it on herself, then I took photographs of it etc and get it back from her.. LOL! I wanted to make it good.. Perhaps tonight I will post how the diamond look initiatly on her hand without the halo setting? Maybe you can get a feel of the size then?
