My first gem show!!!

I went to my first gem show today and this is what I got...
A 4.19 ct citrine! It''s such a rich color and a beautiful cut! I also got a pair of antique-ish amber earrings for my mother for Christmas. Here are some pics!

It was a blast... I was on overload for a bit. I just kept roaming from one table to the next. I had to remind myself that I had a specific project in mind and not to just buy everything that caught my eye! It was a pretty large show, I believe it was an Inter-gem show. (Or something like that.) I am thinking of setting the citrine in a delicate halo ring setting. Maybe LOGR....
