My first frenchie! Any guesses on the age?

This came from a French flea market, it has the hallmark on the outside, 18k (750) and silver. It's my first rose cut too.

Based on the open back, silver to 28k gold setting, and rose cuts - I’m going to say early Victorian - maybe 1860’s? Beautiful piece! Congrats!

Are you going to send it in to see what the center stone is?

@lavenderdragonfly23 it's a natural ruby! No idea of the treatment, and yes, I need to go to GIA so badly with lots of them. I usually send mine to Carlsbad because NYC never answered my calls or emails, but I'm thinking of taking the train into NYC and do a walk in there. Would they let me do that? The train ticket would be cheaper than insuring the things to Carlsbad.

Yes, I do walk-ins to the NYC location for all my loose stones.
