#JOTW My first DK project! Diamonds, sapphires and bezels - oh my!

DK is an absolute joy to work with and boy is he quick. Thanks also to my second eyes NIEL and hand holders, Rubies R Me and MSOP4. This was such a fun project. Some of you might have seen the CAD thread that Niel kept updated (thank you friend). I saw an inspiration ring that I liked but needed many things changed, it was too long for my finger, it was ruby and I wanted a bit of a different shape/look on the outer halo.

Onto the pics-it is just breathtaking in person and I don't have great light here today, but tried to get some!

"Oh My" is right! It's gorgeous! I have been waiting for the reveal! The CADs stole my heart! I love that this looks like an heirloom antique! I love how the design takes an angular shape like a marquise and softens it by adding gentle curves....it is just stunning!

As I said in your other thread, this is stunning. I love the low profile and the way it sits on your finger. I really do think it is more beautiful than your inspiration ring. Wear it in good health. What a great way to start the New Year!
