My Father Died Peacefully on May 16 at Age 96

Hi, all-

I wanted to let you know that my father died peacefully at home on Tuesday at age 96. I did not want to threadjack another thread where I had mentioned this and where some lovely members had started to post messages of support to me. As some of you know, My daughter and I have lived with my father for a number of years now. For the past year we have also had a caretaker, Derrick, living living with us. His love and care helped my father through the difficult last year of his life when he stopped being able to walk at all and hospice care ensured that his last week of life was completely comfortable.
