Hi all i am new to this forum and i probly wont really be sticking around lond i just thought i would share my experience with verragio. first off i researched engagment rings for my girlfriend for about 6 months before i made a decision. i looked everywhere really liked scott kay untill i saw a taccori then i found verragio on the internet and just had to see them in person. unfortunately hardly and dealers sell verragio. i almost bought a taccori because it was beautiful and i had only heard mixed things about verragio. i finally asked a mervis dealer to get three or four verragio samples and a couple taccori samples for me to look at. A couple days later i went to look at the samples and the verragio looked hideous compared to the taccori. it was horrible and i could not believe the price for the quality. and even though i loved the design of the verragio it looked horrible. i asked the jewler if it was even made out of platinum or white gold cause it looked awful. he said he didnt know but he would find out. long story short it was sterling silver and horrible at that. i almost got the taccori cause it looked so good but i really liked the design of the verragio and i decided to take the risk. 8 weeks later i have the verragio and i have to say i am so impressed with it. the quality and the beauty of the ring is far better than i imagined i am so glad i did not pick the tacorri even though it was perty.the verragio is a 5023p with the ledo shank and i think its the highest quality ring i have seen to date. if berry verragio reads anything on this forum i just figured id thank him for this awesome looking ring. i do have to say though they really need to have some decent samples not crappy sterling silver with horrible casting flash and no luster. i really almost did not go with verragio because of this. but this thing truly is amazing and for the many people who are looking for an answere as to whether they are worth it or not i can say without a doubt yes. one issue i am having is buying a matching band i already looked at the band that goes with it and it is way to expensive. first off it is very thin with extremly small diamond pave and its very plain. that being said it looks great with the ring but i just have to ask why something so simple looking would cost 2600. i might have a jeweler custom make me one like it because thats a rediculous price for what the band is. the ring truly is amazing though. ill give you the specs and if you want i will try to post a picture.
