My engagement ring!

I just wanted to post my ring, because everyone here is so nice! This is the ring with which my FI proposed. It is a 14.96 oval unheated greenish-blue Burmese sapphire from Bulgari. I don''t have a camera right now, so I had to take the pictures with my iphone! I''m afraid that the pictures are a little blurry, and you can''t see the pave well on the setting. Also it''s a much prettier color in real life.

I know it''s not a diamond, but it is my engagement ring, so I hope it''s okay to post!

From what I can see, I love it!!! ditto, get your camera and look for the little flower button (macro mode). This works really well for photographing jewelry.

I am new here ! And I think it is a wonderful ring! And why should it be diamond! I think it is the feeling behind the ring and not whether it is a diamond that matters. I should say that your fiance has a good taste for jewelry! Congratulations!
